WhatsApp again improves security for users. The messenger service introduces a new symbol, but: the function is still in the test phase. Dortmund-Social Media has changed the world in a way-on and offline. Facebook, Instagram and others have not only got the place in everyday private life, but have also played an increasing role in companies for years. This also includes WhatsApp and not only serves as a means of communication between friends and family, but also ensures reach with potential for companies from different industries. An example: Aldi now sends offers to customers via WhatsApp.

WhatsApp tests white hooks: The new sign is good for that
But the more companies get involved in WhatsApp, the greater the likelihood of imitators and fraud, reports Echo24.de. Especially since there are always perfidious fraud cases on WhatsApp. Sometimes it is about money, sometimes also about data-with increasing number of corporate accounts, a higher number will probably also be found here. But WhatsApp is already going on. Similar to Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, it should soon be possible with the messenger giant to verify your company account. There is a green star in the chat, in which a white hook will be seen, as Netzwelt.de writes. However, not on the devices on which WhatsApp can no longer be used.

The sign now also helps WhatsApp users to ensure that they chat with the company's corresponding profile and do not fall for fraudsters. Means: WhatsApp checks whether it is really the respective company.
But so far there is still a problem. The security seal is still available in the test phase and accordingly for a few companies. This includes those that participate in a closed pilot project. Since it is not yet available for everyone, it also means that not every account that does not have a hook is a fake account.
WhatsApp with innovations: from emojis to security functions
If a company writes from the users on its own, then caution is still required. Nevertheless, the messenger service seems to bring an innovation that offers more security for users. Only recently has WhatsApp introduced a new verification in login and generally regularly tinkers with innovations. New emojis will soon be available in the chat and in the near future a symbol is also likely to notice the messages sent. But not all wishes are fulfilled, for some of a little trick. This includes, for example, the deposit of WhatsApp status with music. Rubric list picture: © Eisner/Imago
